Our very first stay on the Isle of Mull and found this inn extremely friendly. We travel with 2 bull terriers and they were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and we did not find it noisy even at New Year. The food was excellent, we did not eat anywhere else. We were lucky enough to see an otter on the shore outside the pub one morning. We would recommend the inn and will probably return at some point. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Being Scottish ex-pats that live in Canada now we brought our Canadian friends over on a recent trip. We have a lot of family on Mull and stayed at the Craignure Inn - we were definitely not disappointed! The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean and we can honestly say that we did not have any trouble with noise even thought all of the rooms were booked. This was our friends very first experience with bed and breakfasts and they were also thrilled with their room which was clean, spacious and had a lovely view. We ate in the restaurant two nights in a row and had a wonderful selection of items to choose from which we found to be extremely delicious and very fresh. Our compliments to the chef and also to the waitress who was extremely friendly and helpful. On a previous visit (two years ago) we ate in the pub and it was extremely good as well with possibly the best chicken pie I've had anywhere in years. The best part hands down though is definitely the sticky toffee pudding which is the very best I've had in Scotland ANYWHERE. And believe me, we'd know! Since the first visit two years ago we and our friends have tried it anywhere and everywhere it's been offered and haven't found a better one yet. The pub itself is a nice cozy place to have a drink or play a few rounds of cards in front of the fire until bed time. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I know for certain that it won't be our last. Alex and Tiina were extremely friendly and accommodating - especially with the large family group we had in the restaurant the second night and we can't thank them enough for the experience. My only disappointment was that I couldn't wrangle the sticky toffee pudding recipe from the chef...but then I can't blame him for not giving it up! ; ) I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.........especially if you're looking for a cozy place to stay and a great bite to eat! Be sure to save room for the pudding!

We stayed here for one night before we caught the ferry home. I was bored of camping by that point! They only had one room left but put up a zed bed for the children. The room was clean and comfortable, although the mattress a little hard for my taste. The bar was busy and lively but we were served quickly enough. We ate in the bar and the food was lovely. Although the childrens meals were frozen stuff they enjoyed it - ( they're first ever experience of a turkey dinosaur!) It was my little boys 3rd burthday and we had a cake to give him. It was no trouble for the staff to bring it out singing, even though they were really busy. A lovely little place and we would stay here again.

Have just had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at this hotel,the staff are fantastic and nothing was too much trouble,the food was faultless as only local produce is used.The rooms are impeccably clean and the setting is so idyllic it is out of this world.I will be returning at every opportunity.The perfect place to relax and to take in the splendour of mull.Well done it was great to experience such fantastic hospitality.
