This was the second time we have stayed with Colin and Angela and will certainly return again and again. We were welcomed as if we were family with a cup of tea and freshly made cake and this is repeated every afternoon on returning from a day out. The rooms are furnished to the highest standards with comfortable beds. Dinner is freshly cooked by Colin and is of the highest standard. It is served by Angela, who is an excellent hostess. Breakfast is another feast setting you up for the day exploring the island. Nothing is too much trouble for Angela and Colin who look after their guests as if they are their own family.
The quiet location is ideal as it is in the centre of the island and less than 30 minutes from the ferries.
Cannot wait to return next year.

We have been to stay with Angela and Colin several times now, and each occasion has been wonderful. From the immaculate garden to the spacious rooms, the modern and well stocked bathrooms, the accomodation is perfect. But even better is the way they welcome you into their home and the amazing food that Colin produces, both breakfast and evening meal. Bring a good wine with you, the food deserves it. Views from the lounge are a bonus - deer, eagles and the mountains in the sunset are not guaranteed but are very possible.

A stay at Gruline Home Farm offers guaranteed bliss. The setting is secluded but with lovely views. The rooms offer all possible comforts while on holiday, and the evening meal is a veritable dinner party with superb food and animated conversation. Angela and Colin are the perfect hosts, offering helpful advice about activities of interest, walks, wildlife, and places to visit. A few days there is relaxing and restorative, but beware – you will become addicted!

Gruline Home Farm was excellent. Beautiful farm house and they selected best furniture and linens in guest rooms. We did not take dinner (only B&B) but next mornig we regreted. Breakfast was more than we expected. Plenty of home made food and warm dishes are very tasty and delicate. So we recommend B&B+D to try.
