“One of the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

Suainaval is in a stunning location overlooking Uig Sands and the hills of Lewis and Harris in the distance. Kirsty and Tony were really welcoming and helpful. The double room was very comfortable, with en suite Jacuzzi, and lots of useful information about the area and wildlife etc. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice - including healthy ones! Excellent local Community Shop. Would strongly recommend Loch Croistean for its 4 course dinners, and the Auberge for its interesting mixture of french and hebridean food. Suainaval is excellent value, and one of the best B&B's we've stayed in

“Stunning view - clean B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

If we had known that there was a B&B like Suainaval we surely would stayed longer. So we only spent 2 pleasant nights in a clean B&B including stunning view. Whenever we need anything, Mrs Wade was there to help. We felt like being a part of the family.

We hope to come back soon...

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

We stayed at Suainaval for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Kirsty and Tony are great hosts ably assisted by their family. They are really nice people and the guest house has fantastic views over Uig bay. Some great walks nearby and the colour of the beaches and the sea are amazing. Also some great restaurants in the area, as long as you book in advance. Also saw lots of wildlife from deer to golden eagles and sea birds. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: the double room has the best view.

“Excellent place in a stunning location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2011

This place is run by a great family who were very friendly and delightful to chat to. Room lovely (although we would have preferred a shower to a bath – our personal taste). Fantastic location with fabulous views all around and corncrakes calling outside the bedroom window. The bay looked like a tropical lagoon on a sunny day.
Wonderful breakfast overlooking the bay, with a variety of non-cooked options as well as the more usual choices – cinnamon toast to die for.
