Lorna and her staff were very obliging. Wonderful atmosphere and food was excellent with great choices. We had lots of fun even though it was a short visit. Thank you so much. A must to stay at when visiting Islay.

We had dinner at the Bridgend hotel while on our honeymoon at the recommendation of the B&B we were staying at. On arrival the staff were able to accomodate us as we had not booked. We were given the option of waiting in the lounge or going straight to our table. We opted for the table. Drinks, dinner and desert were all served within a timely manner. A variety of food to select from that was well presented and of good quality. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. An enjoyable experience.

We arrived in Islay off season and had difficulty finding a hotel as those that were open were filled with workers repairing an ocean pipeline. We stopped here and the lady running the hotel said she could give us one room and she would take the rest of us to her home is she couldn't find rooms. She called 14 different places and finally did get rooms for us. It is a great location for the island and the food was divine.

We asked for a got a guided tour of the entire hotel.

Title says most of it. Two rooms were clean but small and could do with improvement. Evening meals and the staff compensated for very average breakfast - despite 3 mornings, soft eggs an impossibility, poor morning service. Fruit & juice ran out early.
