Although the house is no longer a B&B you can hire the entire house to yourself! It fits a large amount of people and we chose it to our wedding venue.
The owners George and Val are the sweetest people in the world, we felt like family from the first time we meet.
The house was very clean, comfortable and so beautiful, the house has a wonderful feeling about it and I highly recommend it for a get together or a small wedding (We sat 29 around the table).
The house is in a stunning location - if it was up for sale I'd buy it!

Hotel is situated directly on the bank of Loch Ard in a very quiet location. The nearest village is Aberfoyle a couple of miles down the road.

Warm, friendly staff and very efficiently run! Our room was clean and spacious and had great views of the loch.

Just got back from a fantastic weekend in the Altskeith and really didn't want to come home. The scenery is breathtaking! The guesthouse is really beautiful and the owners are so friendly and helpful - you immediately feel relaxed and totally at home. The room had a lovely view over the loch and we had two of the best nights sleep we'd had in months, the bed was amazing.
I thoroughly recommend the Altskeith - it's a hidden gem!
