Just got back from a fantastic weekend in the Altskeith and really didn't want to come home. The scenery is breathtaking! The guesthouse is really beautiful and the owners are so friendly and helpful - you immediately feel relaxed and totally at home. The room had a lovely view over the loch and we had two of the best nights sleep we'd had in months, the bed was amazing.
I thoroughly recommend the Altskeith - it's a hidden gem!

A Super place with friendly owner and staff. A cosey and relaxing atmosphere, good food and a beautiful setting. We'll be back!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights in April and it was the most relaxing, warm and friendly place that we have ever stayed in. The house is right on the side of the beautiful Loch Ard (which a cute little private beach perfect fpr skimming stones!) and the hospitality which we encountered was amazing. Tim and his family are so welcoming and it's true that you feel like it's your home from home.

Altskeith offers visitors a very warm, friendly but above all welcoming atmosphere. Tim, the owner is very hands on and will do whatever he can to make the stay the best possible. A lovely place, superb views and definitely a home from home.
