My Mum booked this for me but I felt I had to write a review.
This is honestly the best B&B I have ever been to. Marion is a lovely person, she is so sweet. I got lost trying to find the place - even though it is so close and simple - and she helped me find the place. The bedroom I stayed in was cozy and very comfy. A big double bed and a big wardrobe. It was nice having a TV aswell :) Breakfast was delicious, don't forget to try her scrambled eggs and bacon!
It's also a perfect place for those who have to get a plane the next morning at Prestwick airport, it's only a minute train ride.
I will definitely come here again, if I was around Glasgow again.

Enjoyed a 2 day stay over in Prestwick and would certainly go back. Marion was an excellent host -the full scottish breakfast was fantastic and really made us very welcome.

Just got back from our UK vacation. It was our first time to Prestwick and found the Firhill by just browsing the web. Can't say enough about our host Marion. She was more than accomodating. After my round of golf at Troon in the rain she dried some of my golf attire for me.She was there for breakfast for us, on our timetable. Nothing but a first class place to stay, the rooms were clean and comfy. Thanks marion for all you did for us.

My wife and I stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the Parkstone Hotel which was located at the end of the street. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, Marion. Our room was very nice and very clean, which is important to us.
The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The choice was superb, including fresh fruit.
When we realised that I had brought the wrong shirt to wear to the wedding and my wife had to run out to the local kilt hire shop. Marion was on hand to help iron the shirt when it came out the packet, even although she was on her way out with her own family.
We have visited many countries however we have to say that the welcome and service that Marion provided was one of the best we have ever had.
