My Grandfather and myself came on a trip to Scotland almost 2 years ago from Canada. He was born in Ayr and I always wanted to visit the country and meet family over there. We stayed at the Grange View and right from the start Ross and Joanne had everything we needed and so much more. Were to start.... The rooms and house were very clean and organized, the breakfast was UNREAL tons of variety and local Scotish fare to sample! All of the information and directions were more valuable than any map or travel agent! Without being too long winded if you want a place to stay that is safe, just like home in every way and a great addition to a wonderful country, stay here at the Grange View. I promise you will never stay anywere better!

Apologies for delay in reviewing but only just found TripAdvisor.
We stayed at the Grange View for a couple of nights during the summer of 2010 (had to put Nov 2010 because TripAdvisor dates didn't go back that far!).
It's a lovely little B&B within easy reach of town, beaches, restaurants. Ross & Joanne recommended a hotel down the road for an evening meal and we weren't disappointed - thank you for the recommendation.
In fact, we got engaged that evening, so it was a memorable evening!

Breakfast was just right, beautifully cooked.
Our room was very pleasant, light and airy; nicely set up.
The owners are very friendly, without being 'over the top' and there was a nice family atmosphere about the place.

Thank you again, even 18 months afterwards we remember our stay at the Grange View.

We had a wonderful time in Ayr due to Joanne's warm welcome and friendliness. She always had a smile for us :) Our room was clean and cosy, breakfast was excellent, and the service was very good. Hope to come back soon, thank you Ross and Joanne for the hiking tips! We enjoyed our time off very much!

there is a warm homely atmosphere here and Joanne and Ross care about the people who stay with them and the beds are sooooooo comfortable .The breakfasts are well prepared and laid out and nothing was too much bother.Cant be beaten.
