Have stayed at the Fairfield twice now and cannot find any faults whatsoever.The staff are amazing and both times the rooms were excellent.Had great use of the sauna and pool,which were spotlesss,Cant wait to go back.

We stayed with friends for overnight at Fairfield House Hotel for the New Year Gourmet package. We were upgraded and were delighted to find we had a modern, well appointed and decorated room with a large bathroom, it was all spotless, the staff were without exception, pleasant, helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a good quiet location,by the sea, yet convenient for the town centre.
The food at dinner and breakfast was fresh,delicous and well presented, we enjoyed our short break very much. Didn't have time to try the leisure centre.We certainly hope to return.

good 4 star hotel,rooms very nice decor period ,main hotel rooms are best,newer rooms at rear not as roomy or pleasant,but costed accordingly.good restaurant but menu limited if staying more than a week.Service excellent,location good for shore and town.

We stay at The Fairfield whenever in the area and find the staff welcoming and very accommodating. The hotel is showing signs of wear here and there, but is always clean with a pleasant atmosphere and great facilities for both business folk and families. It's also good value taking into account the facilities (pool, spa, gym, sauna, steam room, meeting room/business centre) included in the price of a night's stay. The lack of WiFi in the bar (WiFi works everywhere else in the hotel) is a pain though and needs to be sorted.
