poor service, poor food(not as per menu description), staff didn't know what they where serving or had on the menus. Two AA rosetes? on a plus the wine i picked was very nice!

We return to Enterkine again and again and for one good reason. It is simply, oustandingly, perfect in every way. The staff are friendly but professional. Sometimes I swear they read your mind before you need to ask for anything. My husband asked for an ice bucket and glasses to be delivered to the room. They arrived upstairs before he did! The food is simply remarkable, and good value for the quality. They call themselves 'informally formal' and I think this is the magic ingredient. You are treated to a five star service, but done in such a comfortable and personal manner that you feel totally cossetted and looked after. Love it.

Stayed here in early summer 2010, very friendly and welcoming reception. Room was good size and very comfortable. However it is the standard of the cuisine that will bring people back. Browne's at Enterkine (hotel restaurant) cannot be faulted, fantastic food served by friendly staff who seem to really know the menu.

Ate dinner on the 17th of Nov. After navigating the bumpy drive, we arrived under cover of darkness to find the house beautifully presented and shiny.

We were welcomed warmly and tended to in a personal way by all staff that sadly lacks in other establishments.

The food was stunningly presented and mouth-watering. The portions were not huge, but it only left us wanting more, which is why we will be back..
