hotel is in a good location went with 3 of my friends for a weekend away , Very well looked after by the staff and management. the two rooms we got were very big and comfortable. great value for Money and the breakfast was cooked to order with a great selection. Would i go here again ? Yes i would.

we stayed here early april and found the location ideal with parking facilities.The rooms were very clean and the breakfeast was the best i have ever had in a hotel.Indy(the owner) is a lovely guy ,very friendly and went out of his way to make you feel comftable.The staff were friendly and pleasant,we used indys bar later at night and found the bar was equipped with pool table darts e.t.c ideal for all ages and families,we were visiting family nearby and will definetely be using this hotel again on my next visit,a really big thumbs up for this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and our friends are avid golfers so we decided this was somewhere we all wanted to visit and found the Almont Hotel online. Having been a horse enthusiast and Hunter rider since the age of 9, seeing a race with jumps was incredible and well worth the stopover in Ayr for myself. Our stay at the Almont Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The hotel was clean, quaint and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We received complimentary breakfast each morning that was fresh and above standards for the usual free breakfast that comes with your hotel stay. The staff went out of their way to make sure we knew where we were going each day and always had great suggestions on restaurants and bars in town. The hotel is centrally located; it was very easy to get to all the various sites , Burns Cottage, Turnberry & Royal Troon golf courses, and the Ayr Racecourse. We all agreed this was one of our favorite hotels and destination in our two week trip through Scotland. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ayr, it’s a lovely hotel and very reasonable.
