Having had some less than great experiences with Travelodge, we were hugey impressed with our two night stay here. We booked for a last minute, short notice stay and were a bit wary of what we'd find. Thankfully our worries were unfounded as the the hotel is pleasant, clean. modern, comfortable and the staff were fantastically friendly.

Check in staff couldn't have been more pleasant, check in and paying for parking was quick and efficient and it was a short walk through the reception/restaurant/bar area to our family room on the ground floor. Our room was a good size and consisted of a double bed, sofa bed, TV (only 5 channels but that didn't bother us), large bathroom with walk in shower and tea & coffee making facilities. Unlike other Travelodges we've stayed in, bed was really comfy and pillows were plentiful (even had some spare!) and plump. For £29 a night, we couldn't ask for more.

We ate dinner in the restaurant on our second evening and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Two adults and two children had main course, dessert and soft drinks for under £30. One dessert was unavailable but the waitress quickly informed us of the possible replacements we could have without us having to pay any extra.

All in all, an enjoyable, relaxed stay and have already recommended to a number of people. Have to visit Glasgow again this week and will be booking to stay here again.
