This hotel was in my opinion appauling. It did not have room service as advertised on the web site, not any restraurant other than a carvery on a Sunday and breakfast. The place was not as clean as we are used to, the bed to a poor standard, and the whole place generally in serious need of upgrading and rennovations - it has not been recently rennovated as in the web site as far as we could see. Parking is easy and the hotel is easy to find but I would worry about the car at weekends as it seems the hotel is mainly open to functions, stag nights etc which may involve large crowds of happy revellers smoking outside near the cars. Chairs were piled up in a narriow corridor, the bathroom in our room had no shower and the bath side panel obvioulsly didn't fit the bath. The shower hose coming from the taps didn't work. Breakfast was greasy and inedible. there are quite a few stairs up to the rooms and no lift. I am sure there is a lot better locally for the same money we paid - £50 for the night.
