“WOW! ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY!”

We have just spent the BEST night here. We found this bed and breakfast on visit Scotland and what a find. Great welcome, very restful night. We loved the warm floors and fantastic power shower. The views at breakfast were to die for. The menu choice was given to us the evening before and this included suggested breakfast times (these were very flexible). The breakfast menu itself provided a good range of choice and we could not fault it at all. Both breakfasts were delicious. This finished our short break beautifully.
We have decided to make this our regular bolt from the city when we need a country break.

“Super Comfortable bed!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2011

Lovely warm welcome, beautiful spacious room, fantastic comfortable bed, lovely en suite shower room. Great for the dog, straight outside......wonderful views. Very helpful - gave us the DVD player to watch in our bedroom. We had a peaceful, relaxing evening after a few hectic days - the perfect place to unwind....
This is a 'self graded' 4 star establishment - but in my experience it is not really 4 star. We were given a choice of times for breakfast from 07.45 to 08.15?? This is a bit early for me, however, the breakfast itself (which you had to choose the night before!) was very disappointing, dry, tasteless, (with uncooked mushrooms & tomatoes) and uninspired.....there was no fresh fruit available (glad I took my own) and the hospitality tray was not well positioned or well stocked for a 4* B&B - i would expect a lot more.....
at £27.50 pp pn it was fine as the views were great and the room was comfortable and warm. I would stay again on the comfort, sleep quality and welcome.....but not the breakfast!!

“simply took our breath away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2011

My husband myself our daughter and two children enjoyed our one night stay. Clean and comfortable accomodation with spectacular views, good parking.
The owners were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was perfect with great choices.
We would definitely stay again maybe longer next time.

“The perfect retreat for a Highland tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

This is a lovely spot; quiet and with beatiful views over the neighbouring mountains. It is convenient for main roads and Pitlochry, which is just a few minutes away in the car. An excellent pub / restaurant is four minutes away. The owners do everything they can to help, and were a delight to stay with. The property and its gardens are immaculate, and breakfast is ideal (my only gripe being the poached eggs are a little runny, and could do with another minute - but I guess that's personal preference rather than a failing). All told, we had a wonderful time, and even glimpsed Roe deer in the neighbouring field. I recommend Easter Croftinloan without hesitation.

“Lovely property, owners, views and food, you couldn't ask for more.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

Found this place on the internet, read the reviews including the one less than complimentary one and ignored it. Glad I did, in fact I don't think that reviewer and I went to the same place. Could not fault this place in any way, the owners were very pleasant helpful people, advising places to walk, eat and visit.

There were plenty of free to use maps, brochures etc in the hallway and even the loan of a lap top when I wanted to check some rail journey times. They've got free WiFi if you take your own lap top.

The rooms for both us and our holiday companions were excellent; comfortable twin beds (as requested), good size bathrooms and terrific views from the windows.

Good menu choice at breakfast with plenty to eat, good sized portions (and I'm a big eater!) including an unlimited supply of toast! View from the dining room and the decking area outside was stunning.

Ideal location for travelling around Pitlochry and the immediate area or even further, cos when you come back for the night you are guaranteed a really good nights sleep.

Would I return, or recommend it to others? Without fail.
