This is a five star experience !
After a late decision to go to Pitlochry,The Claymore was fully booked, Owner offered 1 night in killiecrankie self catering unit, which is normally rented minimum weekend stay .
Accomadation offered is a new build unit outwith hotel.
Absolutely stunning!
Decor and fittings 5 star again !
Same tiles in bathroom as a mansion that is for sale in Gleneagles Estate !
Attention to detail for disabled clients ....outstanding !
Breakfast in main hotel , same top class experience,
I am a very fussy customer and , I could not find 1 fault in Claymore, and no I'm not related to owners lol , Ab Fab !

“A home away from home”

As we booked the "standard room" (the other rooms had far grander names), we didn't know what to expect. We weren't disappointed. I wish all hotels' standard rooms were this comfortable, clean and had such a homely feel to them. The owner was very nice and friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. We were in Pitlochry to do some hill walking and the B&B was very central, no need to bring your car for some good walks outside of town.

“Professional hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We stayed at The Claymore in Pitlochry for two nights in November.
The location is ideal for walking to all parts of Pitlochry, including the Festival Theatre, the Dam/Salmon Ladder and Loch Faskally. The Claymore was of a very high standard for cleanliness, comfort and professional hospitality. The host was very friendly and informative, making several good recommendations for local attractions.
Excellent all round.
