This time last year we went on our first family [nine of us - 3 generations] holiday ever and chose Kinnaird House. We were celebrating several anniversaries and landmark birthdays so we wanted it to be special ......and it was. We had such a lovely time we decided to go back again this year. And we were not disappointed; The house was as immaculately clean, comfortable and welcoming as the first time round. Jane, the owner, made us feel very welcome and was extremely flexible regarding arrival and departure times. I had forgotten to reply to Jane's email asking how we would like the master bedroom set up [sorry Jane!]ie kingsize or twin beds and I was very impressed by the way she cheerfully and quickly changed things to suit our requirements. It is so rare that our family is able to spend time together and the house and the service provided contributed greatly to us all enjoying ourselves. Thanks again

I was asked if I could help a friend show visitors, from Germany, a snapshot of the Highlands. Although I knew Pitlochry well, I had never had the need to find accommodation for a large party before. I had passed Kinnaird House many times and decided to take a chance and book with them.
My group were in awe of the property the minute we drove up the drive; however once we gained access to the property they were overwhelmed! The public rooms were well appointed and the lounge furnished to a high standard of welcomed comfort. A well provided kitchen and magnificent dining room (with wonderful views) completed our needs.
All the bedrooms were well appointed, warm and comfortable, with all the bathrooms being to a high standard.
Although we had to pay our fuel costs, considering it was November they were less than expected for house of this size.
The booking was a seamless process with friendly, informative help from the Owners.
We were particularly impressed that they gave up some of the precious day off to accommodate our arrival needs.
My German friends have left Kinnaird House with a lasting, enjoyable impression of Kinnaird House, Pitlochry and the Highlands.
And... I am busy looking for an excuse to take my friends and family back. A must visit for a discerning group.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go! It was one of the most relaxing weekends with wonderful views and red squirrels running up and down the trees outside the bedroom window. We stayed in Bealach. It was roomy, comfortable and cosy. Would definitely go back but for three nights next time! We didnt want to go home!

Great, long summer weekend had by all in Kinnaird. Lodge accommodation has fantastic views, is spacious, comfortable & clean with decking and bbq. Almost everything provided so all we had to buy was charcoal for bbq, food and drink. The walk into Pitlochry is just under 2 miles which is fine if you don't mind walking on a road in parts. Surrounding area has lots of walks, one of the best is to the top of Ben Vrackie. Good pubs and restaurants in Pitlochry. Would book this accommodation again.
