We first visited Pitlochry in October 1996 with our two small children Faye & William. We were pointed in the direction of Craigroyston by the Scottish tourist board and had the pleasure of meeting Greta and Douglas for the first time, we have returned every year since and look upon Craigroyston as our home in the Highlands.
We cannot speak more highly of Greta and Douglas who have become close friends over the years and not forgetting Lesley an important member of the team.
The house is a magnificent example of Victorian architecture centrally located with ample parking and easy access to shops and restaurants (our favourite Victorias).
The rooms have been tastefully decorated in Laura Ashley style, very clean and comfortable.
A very enjoyable breakfast awaits you each morning before you start your Highland adventure.
Our two children are now 23 and 19 and still want to accompany us, hopefully one day it will just be just the two of us to enjoy the peace and the beautiful scenery, or will it be time to bring the grand children!
If you visit Pitlochry you will certainly enjoy yourselves even more so if you stay at Craigroyston.
