“Our Highland Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

We first visited Pitlochry in October 1996 with our two small children Faye & William. We were pointed in the direction of Craigroyston by the Scottish tourist board and had the pleasure of meeting Greta and Douglas for the first time, we have returned every year since and look upon Craigroyston as our home in the Highlands.
We cannot speak more highly of Greta and Douglas who have become close friends over the years and not forgetting Lesley an important member of the team.
The house is a magnificent example of Victorian architecture centrally located with ample parking and easy access to shops and restaurants (our favourite Victorias).
The rooms have been tastefully decorated in Laura Ashley style, very clean and comfortable.
A very enjoyable breakfast awaits you each morning before you start your Highland adventure.
Our two children are now 23 and 19 and still want to accompany us, hopefully one day it will just be just the two of us to enjoy the peace and the beautiful scenery, or will it be time to bring the grand children!
If you visit Pitlochry you will certainly enjoy yourselves even more so if you stay at Craigroyston.

From Steven & Angela Chambers, Leigh On Sea, Essex.

A very clean and pleasant guest house and our room was comfortable and attractive. Our hosts were obliging and the staff diligent and friendly. The position of the guest house could not be bettered - conveniently located to the town centre but quiet with parking available. Excellent breakfast and tariff was reasonable. Woulfd return here again.

“Elegant B&B in a quaint town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

Craigroyston House was a pleasant surprise in the wonderful old town of Pitlochery. The location is right in the heart of town and with parking provided, it is an easy walk to shops & restaurants. The B&B itself is set in an elegant old house with nice, large rooms and comfortable beds. A large parlor with a delightful figreetedted us and provided for a place to gather with friends and enjoy a glass of wine. Included in the price was a generous, delicious full breakfast. The price was very reasonable and the location of Pitlochery convenient for day trips. We would recommend this B&B to friends & family.

“Convenient, Clean and good breakfasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

Craigroyston has a friendly staff, the rooms are clean, breakfast is quick and of good quality, the greatest plus in my view is the convenience to town shopping and visiting, and the cozy fireplace blazing with coal during cold autumn mornings and evenings. The one thing clearly missing from this otherwise wonderful B&B is the absence of complimentary wine or drinks served in the evening around the fireplace. Those with physical disabilities may give second thought however as the climb up a flight of stairs with luggage is not easy. There are no elevators in this B&B. The price is reasonable and fair given the prevailing rates in the area.

Room Tip: If you don't like climbing stairs ask for a room on the ground floor.

“Highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

We booked Craigroyston House for our first night's stay of a week's touring holiday of Scotland. We had a wonderful, albeit brief stay. Douglas greeted us on the doorstep and made us most welcome. The room was airy and the bed comfortable. The shower was excellent. The roaring fire in the lounge drew us for an hour or so in the afternoon. A good night's sleep was rounded off with a great breakfast, with plenty of choice. We would certainly return. Thankyou Douglas and Greta. Happy sailing!
