Rooms were comfortable, and very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Fixtures and fittings are dated but everything worked and there was plenty of space and storage. There is a bar/lounge belonging to the hotel outside at the back-it had a good friendly atmosphere. I do think that the reception and bar area in hotel being closed at 930pm was a liitle early. Hotel sits in a good location in the lovely village of Blair Atholl with easy access around Perthshire. Was there to do some walking and would recommend the area for easy short walks to more difficult ones.

But no shower in room bath panel was broken..wallpaper coming of walls..this hotel needs to be total redecorated...lots to eat at breakfast ..but sadly overcooked..and toast was cold and soggy....staff were friendly ...and no problems comind inlate after a family wedding..but 2 of the 3 rooms we booked were situated over the airconditioning units and a constant buzzin all night..and the room that had the shower ran cold..so all in all for a night when you just need to sleeep and move on it was ok..but perhaps not for a long stay ..mainly becuae of the lack of showerin facilities..hair washing would be dificult..would nit recommend to anyone..SORRY!!!!!!!

This Hotel is owned by Grand Holidays UK. We have found that most of the hotels that this tour company owns and therefore uses are inferior. The Grand Brittania at Manchester Airport certainly being one of their worst. Rooms at the bridge of Tilt were clean and comfortable, staff and food can only be described as excellent. We spent five days here and were made to feel very welcome, but the bathroom suite was a very old and outdated dark red/brown brick colour and tiles to match, bath only. Toilet seat half off. Would we go back? Difficult to say, as there is not much to see in this area, only best for walkers. If I recommended this to anyone, I would have to describe this description of the hotel to them and let them decide for themselves.

This hotel is well overdue for a face-lift.
Rooms vary considerably in size & view. Be aware - some have baths but NOT SHOWERS.
Staff very friendly & helpful. Food & restaurant service good.
Location good. Blair Castle close by - also plenty of good walking.
Public transport very limited. Trains around 6 per day (Perth/Inverness line) - buses virtually non-existant.
