“Perfect location and wonderful accomodation”

The self contained flat is in a perfect location in Pitlochry being just 2 minutes from the shops, cafes and restaurants whilst located in a peaceful and quiet road with lovely views. The owners, Julie and Eddie, were really welcoming and went out of their way to make our trip memorable. The flat itself is ideal for families, couples or solo travellers and well equipped throughout. The kitchen has everything you could need, the living room is equipped with flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and stereo system. The bedrooms are warm and cosy, with the beds very comfortable - especially welcome after all the walking (and cream teas!). It was also a real treat to be able to sit outside with a cup of tea and (more) cake watching the birds at Julie's bird feeders.
There is so much to do and see in the area that we barely fitted in everything we wanted too, so we'll be back again next year.......and there is only one place to stay - Sunnybank!

“Higly recomended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2009

I spent with my fiancee 3 days in Pitlochry. Place was really lovely with many things to see around. We were very happy with our accomodation at Sunnybank. Very clean and tidy room together with tasty full scotish breakfast helped make our stay fully enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks to Ina & Sandy.

“A hidden gem in Pitlochry”

Pitlochry - Sunnybank Guest House and Garden Apartment
January 2009

My partner and I decided to have a few days away but not too far from Edinburgh. We were very fortunate to find this hidden gem just off the main street and perfectly situated for visiting the beautiful surrounding contryside and ofcourse the House of Bruar for a ltitle retail therapy.

We were greeted on arrival by the owners (Ina and Sandy) who immediately made us feel very welcome. We were shown to our en-suite bedroom which was very well appointed and spotless. There were tea/coffee making facilities, television, hairdryer and after our first night I can say a very comfortable bed.

Breakfast was super and set us up for the rest of the day. There was cereal, fruit juice, porridge (if requested), tea, coffee and as much as toast as you wanted, and as if that was not enough we both opted to try the full scottish breakfast. This was very good and all freshly cooked to order, which we enjoyed at our leisure.

The owners were very knowledgeable about Pitlochry and surrounding areas and helped us plan our day, which enabled us to make the most of our time.

Whilst there we asked the owners if we could see the Garden flat as friends of ours were thinking of taking a trip north during the school summer holidays. The flat was very well appointed, spotless and very well equipped with everything that a family would require for their stay. (Dogs are welcome too).

We had a lovely stay at Sunnybank and we would recommend this Guest House to anyone wishing to stay in Pitlochry and we both agreed we will definitely go back.

“Sunnybank is lovely B&B”

Lovely B & B, reasonably priced, in beautiful Pitlochry. Great sightseeing base. Very friendly hosts made our stay even more enjoyable ~ homemade scones for breakfast were very much appreciated. They have an apartment for longer stays that I'll continue to dream about.
