Wellwood House was the last B&B on our trek up the Rob Roy Way and was a perfect way to wrap it up. Jim was very friendly and welcoming. We felt immediately at home and enjoyed his restaurant recommendation immesely. Wonderful breakfast and was very impressed by the high level of hospitality. We hope to stay there again one day!

Jim and Maggi are the perfect hosts, the house in just amazing and they accommodated our changing plans when we decided to stay longer. Pitlochry is so central, a number of things we planned to do we did as day trips and extended our stay at Wellwood. We could not fault anything.

We had 3 nights in this excellent B&B. Room was very comfortable with good shower but the bed was excellent. First class scottish breakfast in the morning with pleasant and helpful staff. Nice touch when the owner/chef came to our tableto see how we enjoyed the meal and to give us helpfull info on things to do.

Guest sitting room with honesty bar is a nice touch. Will stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed at Wellwood House in May of this year. The day we arrived was a crazy weather day, with gale force winds closing the Firth of Forth Bridge. However, we arrived safely, and were very happy to relax in our very comfortable room. We were given several suggestions for restaurants for dinner, and were sorry we were unable to poke around more in the shops of Pitlochry. It is a beautiful city and we will have to go back, Our room was very comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was made to order, as well as many buffet items. This is a beautiful old building and I can imagine a time when it was simply a family home...how wonderful to have lived here!
