in beautiful location just above pitlochry, the hotel is a very relaxing and welcoming location.
roaring log fire, lots of seating, the public spaces are very comfortable. Service very efficient and friendly, and food much improved from previous visit some years ago- though given the statement that local produce was used, it was disappointing to see only english cheeses on the menu. Excellent breakfast. Room was well equipped, and nicely furnished, but some of the flowers wer plastic in the room and hallways, though at the dinner table they were real. Well stocked bar, and overall a friendly relaxing stay

Pine Trees Hotel is perfectly situated in Pitlochry on the hill overlooking this lovely town. It is a real country hotel with lots of wood panelling, thick carpets, comfy leather sofas and a roaring fire in the lounge. The room was good with a lovely view over the grounds. Breakfast was lovely, enhanced by attentive and professional service.

We have just returned from a 4th visit to this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. We often take short breaks of 1 or 2 nights in Perthshire and we have tried other similarly priced hotels and they just do not compare to the personal service and attention to detail that Pine Trees delivers. We have stayed in a few different rooms in the hotel and every one has been immaculate in cleanliness and decor. The beds are comfortable and the food is always to a very high standard. Every member of the staff that we have dealt with has been both polite and friendly and no request is ever any trouble. It is so relaxing to sit by the log fire with your after dinner coffee and just relax. We have already booked our next trip and look forward to many more!

We stayed at Pine Trees on a late November night and it turned out to be just what we were looking for. Public rooms with comfortable old fashioned furniture, mahogany lined walls, subdued lighting. A great place to snuggle down with a good book or newspaper. The meal was good and the staff most attentive. The room was large and well furnished; the ensuite very modern. The whole place was very clean and we look forward to going back in the Spring for some golf or some walking.
