Scottish Tourist office assisted my father and I with the reservation and what a treat. Location is great, right on the main commercial street in Pitlochry. Train station is quite close but noise was barely noticeable. Hosts were very kind and customer service orientated. Room was clean. Breakfast was cooked well and dining facility was nice and sunny. Great help with travel directions and route suggestions. Only slight complaint is that the wifi only worked in the parlor and not in the room (no big deal).

We stayed in the adjoining apartment within Atholl Villa which was absolutely amazing. We had our own lounge, kitchen and bedroom/ensuite. We even had a private garden to relax in! Ann and Jim were the most friendly and hospitable hosts ever, they even boked us a table at a local pub because we were undecided on where to eat! I never go to the trouble of writing recommendations but I felt i really had to this time and even wish to email Ann and Jim personally because they truly made our stay in Pitlochry even more memorable. The place is picture perfect, breakfast was very prompt and delicious and the service was personable and outstanding!

I have had the pleasure of staying at Atholl Villa recently and definitely recommend booking in there for your stay.

The location is perfect being minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the centre of the village is literally 2 mins walk.

Ann and Jim are extremely wecoming, friendly and run a professional establishment. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you feel very comfortable in their guest house. They also are great for giving directions and advice about where to go in the village eg. restaurants

The whole house is spotlessly clean and still retaining it's charm. My room was lovely - linen crisp and fresh, extras like water and chocs, good tv reception, good heating etc. The bathroom was beautiful and unbelievably clean (again) with everything you need.

The breakfast room has a lovely outlook with huge windows to let in the light and sunshine. Very pleasant and beautifully decorated. Also, as a solo traveller I felt very comfortable having breakfast on my own - Jim is great and makes you feel right at home. I would recommend the scrambled eggs definitely as they were the best I've had. Well done Barbara!!!!

I've stayed in many B and B s over the last 18 months in Scotland and have to say that Atholl Villa is 110% quality. Ann and Jim take pride in their house and the service they give to guests and I guarrantee you would be as impressed as I am if you stay there. A totally pleasant experience to stay there.

I know I will be staying again when visiting Pitlochry.

We stayed at the Atholl Villa Guest House for two nights and found it a very pleasant experience. Our room was on the top floor, spacious and with a view of the town. The location was very close to shops and restaurants. Quiet and clean, Atholl Villa was a good base for as we toured the area and attended the Pitlochry Highland Games. The owners were helpful and informative. Jim, particularly, was a wealth of knowledge about the town and surrounding area, and offered excellent advice about restaurants in town. Breakfasts were large and well-prepared with many little touches that made it memorable.
