Small Hotel set in delightful grounds and within 4 minutes walk of Pitlochry Town Centre. Well appointed rooms, lovely lounge and great log fire. But the hidden gem is th Chef. Simple menu, changing daily, offer a choice of three or four items within each course and all for only £24.00 - including coffee! However, the items on offer were exemplary: Guinea Fowl, Venison etc. etc We expected to be visiting local restaurants, but no chance, once having eaten at the hotel we simply could not be persuaded to try anywhere else.

Hotel was lovely. Quiet, relaxing and the food was wonderful. Great service but not too pushy. We had a great room (four poster), the whole place was full of character and the location is perfect. Great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed an autumn break in this lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bedrooms well decorated - with lovely views over the surrounding countryside - and the lounge was a very relaxing place with comfy sofas and log fires. The evening meals were amazing - we would come back just for the food!

As from the booking of the room, I knew that we would have a perfect stay. We intended to stay with our little dog and it was immediately clear that he would be very welcome (unfortunately we did not succeed to fulfill the PET formalities in time).
However, the Knockendarroch really deserves a 10/10 !
Ideally located, very clean and comfortable rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff.
The restaurant makes delicious meals (great breakfast and fantastic dinner ... Mmmm). And it is so relaxing to enjoy the canapes and the coffee in the cosy lounge.
Without any doubt, we will come back !
