“Lovely friendly place in a great location with beautiful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I stayed in the poplars in October 2011. Janice and Gerry were perfect hosts - they were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful - including booking us a restaurant and driving us to the theatre as it was raining. The rooms were quiet and very clean, there was a lovely drawing room and there were great views. Pitlochry is a great wee town in a beautiful part of Scotland and the poplars is an ideal place to stay when visiting it.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2011

When I phoned to book this B&B I spoke to Janice who was brilliant. She recommended a good eatery nearby and was very helpful.
We were going to visit the Enchanted Forest and arriived in the afternoon to a wonderful welcome. Rooms were lovely (there were 4 of us) bathrooms were clean and bright. Janice showed us around the house and made us feel very welcome to enjoy the amenities.. Breakfast the next morning was superb.
Would highly recommend. Well done Janice and Gerry. A superb example of Scottish hospitality.

Room Tip: Ask for number 1. Fantastic views

“Great Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

Had a great time, great B&B, lovely couple, accomodation and breakfast very good. Nice location, not far from the main st. We visited in October, would be a great location in a summer's day to sit in the garden and admire the view.

Room Tip: Ask for room 1, view in the morning top wake up to amazing.

“The best B&B you can imagine, With lots of love from Israel!!!!”

We were a group of 10 people in this lovely family trip to Scotland so you can imagine the difficulty to find a dissent place to stay for all of us and to pay a normal price for it. But we found that kind of place it was The Poplars of Pitlochry. The moment we arrived the welcoming faces of the hosts was worming, the view was breath taking and the family dog was tiny friendly and simply adorable. The house it self the rooms we got and of course the dinning aria was spotless clean very family like and cosy. The hosts as i already said were simply lovely and we left the place filing as though we are living from visiting family friends.important to add, we got very detailed explanation of the aria and some town history and a places we must see, as we did and it was great.
So to sum up it was a place to return to for sure!!!!!
We love you guys, now you come visit us!!! Love and Kisses from Israel!
