Unless you are very thin you cannot expect to be able to get into the shower at all because the shower doors slide only a small amount. The hotel is on the main road so quite noisy. Breakfast was edible- assuming one isvery hungry.
I would not wish to stay there again

We spent a week in this lovely hotel that we found after a thorough search on the internet. First we wanted to stay in Perth, but furtunatelly changed our minds and decided on this hotel. Pitlochry is a picturesque little town with nice athmosphere very much surrounded by nature that we love. The hotel is in walking distance from everything in town. As we arrived quite late in the evening we had our dinner right away in the restaurant of the hotel which is tastefully decorated and has a very nice view on the mountains. The menu was great and we had an excellent dinner. Our room with a four poster bed was nice, neat, tidy just as the bathroom. The breakfast area is again overlooking the mountains. They serve delicious Scottish breakfast from 8.15 onwards. The hotel also has a nice pub and sitting area. The management and stuff was very kind, nice and helpful to us, they really did their best to make our stay a memorable one. The hotel is also very good because of its central location, a lot of sights are quite nearby.
There are not many hotels that fully comply with their advertisements, but in case of Westlands, you can believe every word. Highly recommended hotel.

My Fiance and I were in Pitlochry this fall for my best friend's wedding. She took the liberty of booking all the rooms for the wedding party and I think she did a great job of selecting this accomodation. The staff were so nice and accomodating. We had some travel problems on our way over to the UK and were not able to make it to Pitlochry on the night that we were scheduled to arrive. I phoned Westlands and they were very nice and sympathetic. They also did not charge us for the night that we didn't show and still held our room for the next two nights. Our room was adorable. Not your typical cheesy B&B room. We had beautiful views out our window and the location was perfect, though Pitlochry is so small it doesn't really matter. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers. We loved Pitlochry and hope to return.

Nice warm welcome. Overall good value for money. Room wasn’t huge but nice and clean. Good menu with decent portions and good service. Same menu in bar or restaurant – very relaxed atmosphere. Nice breakfasts. Recommended.
