The staff are welcoming and friendly; the food is of an extremely high standard and cooked to order; both the bar and lounge are most agreeable rooms to relax in and the bedroom was warm and comfortable with a pleasant view. A first visit and hopefully not our last.

We had stayed at Westlands once before and were certainly not disappointed on our return visit. The room was well appointed and scrupulously clean as was the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food at both dinner and breakfast was extremely good; the standard dinner menu is augmented by a considerable list of specials although the number of sweets offered is limited compared to the rest of the menu. Meals can be taken in both a pleasant bar area and in the spacious dining room. There is a very ample parking area close to the main entrance and the hotel itself is very conveniently located on the outskirts of the town but within a few minutes' walk of the centre of Pitlochry. Dinner can be taken from 5.30pm to accommodate guests who are attending performances at the town's excellent theatre. All in all, this is a very good hotel which does all the essential things well and without fuss.

After reading reviews i was hoping for something better.
The single room i had booked was small, old fashioned and an out of date shower room that was not exactly clean. There were still clothes in the wardrobe from the previous persons stay. Unhelpful, unflexible owners - dont ask for anything out of the ordinary as the answer would be no!

Sunday carvery lives up to usual expectations. Great value for money and as always, came away well and truly satisfied. Great service and friendly staff made it a very pleasant experience.
