Returning from the north of Scotland onTuesday and due to the extreme weather conditions.
No trains or buses could go further south than Perth,my wife and I were forced to find accomodation in Perth.
Our daughter searched the internet from back home and found us the above hotel.
This hotel is approx 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations. On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly young gentleman on reception. We only stayed the one night but the
friendliness of the staff was first class. We had a meal from the high tea menu which was
excellent. The bedroom was spotless as was the shower room. The breakfast was most
enjoyable. If we are back in Perth for a short stay we will no hesitate to use the Grampian Hotel
again. We will also recommend it to friends and family.

Just back from a two night stay at the Grampian. This took in a Hogmanay Party Night,great night,food and company just wonderfull..The room was very clean-great shower-room was warm. Meal on the first night was wonderfull..Hotel close to town.Staff and owners could not do enough..I could go on and on..To some up my wife and shall be back.

The Grampian Hotel is well run by a couple who seem to do absolutely everything! They are both running around not, I hasten to add, like headless chickens, cooking, cleaning, answering the telephone, working the bar and so on. I fear burn out!!! The hotel is an improvement on when we last stayed 6 or so years ago. Much friendlier, it has a guest house feel rather than a hotel. The bedrooms are fine although space to put clothes away is limited to one rail on a wall with a few coathangers and the small TV would have been better on the wall but these are minor things that can be remedied easily and I am sure that plans are afoot to continue the improvements. Breakfast was good and the bar well stocked. I paid £80 per night and I think that is probably about right.

My wife and I secured a late booking in this gem of a place. Great food and service. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Central location yet very quiet. Highly recommended. We would not usually stay in Perth as we live only 1 hour drive away but family matters kept us local. If we ever stay in Perth again the Grampian would be our first choice.
