nice touch having sitting room where you can help yourself to a wee aperitif or nightcap

The Kinnaird Guest House is in walking distance of the many attractions of Perth, and looks out over one of the large parks, the South Inch. It's an attractive building, and beautifullly decorated by the owners, Emma and Douglas. They are also very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable (apart from a bit of unavoidable road noise).and everything was spotless. There is a wide choice of items for breakfast and they are all cooked to perfection. There's a most welcoming lounge, not something you always find in this sort of accommodation. And finally, as a surprising and welcome extra, there is whisky and sherry in the lounge for the use of guests !

Great place, attention to detail makes this place welcoming. The hosts are attentive but unassuming. Parking in the centre of Perth too!

We have stayed here two of three times now (twice under the present ownership). The house is well situated overlooking South Inch a pleasant open space. It is a short walk to the centre of town. There is a very good welcome and the breakfast is the best you could haveanywhere.The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable.
If there is a slight downsid it is the parking which is a bit awkwardly situated behind the house and could be a problem if you have a large car or if ,as in the case of ourlast visit, there has been a great deal of snow! However it does save you the cost of a public car park. All in all this place can't be bettered!
