We had a super three night stay at the Pitcullen earlier this month. It provided a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere with Jan and John going out of their way to make us feel at home. They gave us terrific advice about places to eat, local tourist attractions and scenic countryside walks. John went to the trouble of printing off maps of routes we might want to explore and, when we said we make take a drive further afield, he even produced the local paper with details of where the dreaded speed cameras might be sited! Our bedroom (a ground floor double), was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a real success. Breakfast was also of a high standard - freshly prepared and expertly cooked to very specific requirements. All in all, a first class B&B run by the friendliest and most helpful of hosts, which we would certainly use again when visiting Perth.

From the moment we steppped into Pitcullen guest House we were welcomed. John and Jan were such great hosts making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The little details like free drinks for the kids, a notepad in the room, useful maps and information were appreciated. The room was very comfortable and quiet and we slept really well. The breakfast was fantastic and probably the best we had in in our travels in Scotland. John's maps and directions were invaluable and made the next stage of our trip easier. Recomendations of where to eat, buy petrol, take photos etc were spot on and made our trip that little bit better.

Janice and John gave us such a warm and friendly welcome to their B & B, which is about 10 mins walk along a main road to the edge of the city centre, ideal for the concert hall and riverside. They are a mine of information about the town, with a map in the hall showing restaurants and other attractions. They happily made a booking for our chosen restaurant (The Northport - excellent). Our room was warm and comfortable and triple glazing helps to keep traffic noise down. The sitting room with loads of books and magazines was particularly welcome. Breakfasts were fine, especlally the creamy porridge. We will return!

An absolute gem of a find! The cleanliness and decor of the house and rooms was excellent, the breakfast exactly what we were wanting, and the helpfulness of the owners was absolutely top notch. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone.
