What can I say about this Hotel other than "Fantastic". The staff are superb nothing is ever too much trouble, rooms spacious and comfortable . The bar is cosy and tranquil with the most amazing range of Single Malt's, the food is always excellent and the portions generous to say the least and the breakfast to die for. The title of my review says it all, if I am ever in the far North of Scotland I will always stay at the Laichmoray Hotel because it's always nice to catch up with an Old Friend ever now and again!!

Have been a regular patron for the last 15 years + and every time everything has been excellent. Good choice of food and always freshly prepared. Prices very reasonable and staff go out of their way to make it an enjoyable meal.

Stayed in room 32, no view but it was big, warm, clean and quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We both had a lovely steak for our evening meal. Even the Porridge for breakfast gets 4stars.

Next time we visit Elgin this will be the first place I will try.

My family stayed here for 2 nights. I have stayed in hotels all over the World and have never felt so welcome anywhere. The friendliness of the staff was incredible.
The food was great, breakfast was good too. I will stay again.
My only negative points are that a little redecoration is in order and when the girl told me that there were no butteries my complaint was heard and they magically appeared.
All I can say is that you will not be dissapointed. Thank you to the staff you were all fantastic!
