“Delightful place to stay”

Greenlawns Bed and Breakfast is a lovely place to stay for a few days in Nairn. Upon arrival you are made to feel very welcome. It is well located, being only a short walk from the beach, harbour, train station, and town / village centre. The room we stayed in was well equipped, with everything you could need including a kettle, and hairdryer. All sheets and towels were well laundered and the room had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection to choose from. I was amazed how well catered for I was, I have multiple food allergies, yet was still given a very filling breakfast each day. This included gluten free sausages, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, mushrooms, and tomatoes; along with fruit, fruit juice and filter coffee.
The most amazing part of this B&B is the hostess, who is incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: We stayed in bedroom 5 and were very happy

Me and my wife stayed here with our dogs while doing a driving tour of Scotland. Nairn is a quiet little village with allot to do and I must say Greenlawns is a fantastic B&B where the hosts really cant do enough for you.

Try the homemade marmalade !!

“Pleasant, friendly, wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2010

We had a very warm welcome by Sheelagh and her husband David. As we travelled with a dog they made sure we had a room on the ground floor with plenty of space. The B&B is located close to the beach which was essential to have a brisk walk with the dog every morning. The breakfast was superb, the porridge absolutely the best. The location is easy driving to many famous spots and the scenery everywhere is just breathtaking. We enjoyed this holiday tremendously. The sun was shining every day which was another bonus.
Thanks to Sheelagh and David.

“A unique bed and breakfast experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2010

From the moment we arrived in this beautiful house we were made to feel so welcome. Each room is unique and it was a pleasure to share the wonderful items that have been collected from all over the world. Our bedroom and huge en suite bathroom with bath and shower was an oasis of calm on a much needed break. A few minutes walk from a beautiful beach, town centre and lovely restaurant (bar meals were superb too) gave greenlawns a perfect location. Nairn is also ideally situated for exploring the North East, close to Culloden Visitors Centre, Fort George and the beautiful and peaceful Findhorn Bay. If you are lucky you will see dolphins in the Moray Firth and you can walk for miles along the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return. Would certainly recommend a visit and now have a lovely place to recommend to my relatives in Australia who visit Scotland frequently. I know they would love Greenlawns and the wonderful hospitality of Sheelagh and Dave.
