Booked in for a three night stay with my wife and two year old son.on booking online and when checking in decided not to pre-book breakfast so we weren't committed to going if we didn't fancy it.the rooms were typical premier inn rooms.no thrills but clean looking and spacious.there was a strong smell of damp in the room which you quickly got used to although if you were to leave your room and come back in the damp smell sensation returned.son's single bed was next to the window which had a beautiful view of the mountains.unfortunately the damp from the window made the duvet feel wet.due to this my son slept in our bed with us.shower was nice and television had plenty of channels.on the first two mornings we decided to eat breakfast in the hotel restraurant.both times the staff made a big song and dance about how we hadn't booked and they might not be able to seat us.on looking into the restaurant, however, there were only a couple of families and there must have been over twenty empty tables.also the lady who served us the first morning wore a rangers f.c. baseball cap which I found to be very unprofessional.food was nice and well priced also under 16s eat free.staff in the hotel were very friendly and good with children.very close to town centre and only a short drive from lots of hill walks.
