“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

This is THE place to stay in Fort William, especially if you want to climb Ben Nevis. It's at the foot of the mountain, and a stone's throw from the pub (which had DELICIOUS food). Scot was such a great and HILARIOUS host, and gave us lots of helpful tips. We loved staying on the sheep farm, and it was really affordable. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you want a memorable experience.

Room Tip: If you want to save money, stay in the hostel. It's got a shared kitchen, and private rooms.

“Great B&B in an unbeatable location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011

We stayed in the B&B part of Achintee Farm. Excellent hosts made this stay, Scott was brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and nicely furnished and there was plenty of breakfast with lots of different choice.

There's a drying room which came in handy after a VERY wet day climbing Ben Nevis, and the Ben Nevis Inn is just at the end of the drive which served really nice food and a good place for a tipple at the end of a hard day's climbing.

Achintee Farm is right at the start of the Ben Nevis path so no need to drive anywhere - very handy, and the price for rooms is really reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this B&B.

“Highly recommend this B&B in Glen Nevis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

Great B&B in Glen Nevis, warm, welcoming, large quiet room. Scott (our host) was delightful and the Ben Nevis Inn (200m away) has great ambience and food. Location also very handy for Ben Nevis path.

“This hostel surpassed many holiday cottages!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Achintee Farm hostel for 2 nights before and after doing Ben Nevis. We had a 5 bed bunk room between the 4 of us. Great shower and separate loo, and a wonderfully fitted out kitchen. The whole place was immaculately clean and the owners were charming and helpful. I recommend staying here - it is at the beginning of the trail up the Ben and has stunning views all about. The good pub at the end of the drive was a bonus too.
