Ok for a business trip but not exciting. Pretty tired looking. Food decent enough but can't say any more about it than that.

Me and my wife desided to have a long weekend away, we booked this hotel from the easy breaks web site it was very good value I must say we went there with open minds.
I have to say from the minute we arrived I was impressed we had room 28 and on entering the room once again I was impressed a nice room very clean and a comfortable bed a good clean bathroom with a powerfull shower we visited the leisure centre attached to hotel this was a modern faculty with a good gym every thing worked.
One thing from the start was the staff where always there to help and could not do enough for you the food was very good and plentiful and the breakfast buffet was a spread fit for a king.
I did read some of the negative coments on here but we are glad to have visited this hotel and will visit this hotel again

My wife and i have just returned from a relaxing break at the Ben Nevis Hotel, room was spotless clean ,Staff were very friendly & welcoming,The quality and choice of food was very good, All in we had no complaints.
We hope to return again shortly.

The hotel looks like it is jaded and is shabby round the edges. Evidence of peeling paint in the rooms and not as clean as it should be The first floor landing had a bucket on the floor to carch rain drips from an old leak in the ceiling. This summed up the place - no attention to detail. The bar meal was average. However on the positive side, the breakfast set up was good; with a very good selection of fruit, cold meats, hot food, rolls etc. I could not fault this as all. There is not a huge choice of hotels in the area. There are better B & B's or guest houses and I would rather stay in one of these; with higher standards of accomodation, but not all of them are open in winter. I suggest you shop around and see what else there rather than stay at the Ben Nevis Hotel unless you have to.
