I have eaten here on many occasions and the food is always excellent. Really friendly staff and comfortable surroundings.

After having read the reviews on here I feel compelled to review this hotel rationally and fairly.
Myself, my wife and my 10 year old niece who is blind stayed in the WestEnd Hotel in October as we were attending a wedding in Fort William.
On arrival we were allocated room 16 which is a family room comprising a double bed and a single bed. View from the windows of the room were of the Loch and hills beyond.. The room was adequate for our needs. Everything was in working order and clean. The staff have to be commended on their work ethic,manners and willingness to help. Special mention to dining room staff at breakfast who were really friendly and very attentive to the needs and wants of my niece.
At least four times over the weekend I was asked if there was anything we needed changed or required changed with regard to my niece and her visual impairement.

Yes the hotel looks slightly tired in places, yes parking can be hit or miss but for the money we paid this hotel has to be one given consideration when looking to stay in Fort William

We stayed 1night here and that was enough. The girl on reception was very nice as were the other staff we came into contact with however the rooms let this hotel down badly. The pillows are so old they fall down behind the headboard as they're so flat, I checked the wardrobe for a spare but there weren't any. Our room ( room 5 on the 2nd floor ) was a really small double with a sea view which was useful because the dated television had very few channels to choose from. The sheets on the bed were very faded and had definitely seen better days. To cap it all off a blue circular light for the bathroom heater shone in my eyes all night resulting in very little sleep. Unless this hotel has some serious updating we will not be returning.

Had a lovely break at this hotel. View of the loch from the bedroom window, very happy with the price. The hotel staff were lovely, the hotel was fully booked at the time we stayed and nothing was too much trouble.
