Just back from a lovely stay at the Caledonian hotel in Fort William. This stay was inclusive of drinks at night. Lovely helpful staff throughout hotel. From cleaning staff to reception staff all had a smile for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Dining room was nice and food was good though I must admit main meal portions were not enough for me. To be honest the price we paid for the four days was unbelievably low and we did have a lovely stay. We travelled to the hotel by car and I first saw this break in the Sunday Post a few months before we went but only decided to book about a week before going, I'm glad I did

good hotel for price paid£79 for 3 days all inclusive good postion our room at a nice loch view 2 miles from fort willam food was good and all inclusive was branded spirts from 19.30 till 21.30 only downside walls in public toilets plaster falling of them and entertainment was bingo on sunday night which went on and on alright if you like bingo which i personally dont

After our usual trip to breamar staying in a bay hotel, i have got to say i was disappointed in the standards of this hotel. It smelt on arrival, hot water in cold tap, my husband could not shower as there was no cold water. There was a big hole in the bed spread. We are not old old but middle aged and probably an up and coming clientel for this group, Really would never go again, having said that we adore the invacauld in breamar and really wish we had not ventured a very disappointing trip and left a day earlier than planned that says it all as avid lovers of scotland on the whole sad trip

The Caledonian Hotel is on a hightway two miles outside of Fort William. Given a choice I would rather be much closer to the city - hotels & B&Bs available in town. Hotel popular with bus tour groups - mostly seniors. Hotel clean, well maintained, but dated. Good variety of food available in the restaurant. Pleasent bar area with view of the lake. Excellent staff: friendly and helpful. As a solo paid a supplement for a single room - very small with an uncomfortable bed - very old small TV. I would not return to this hotel.
