“Amazong place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2010

More than just an hotel. A very nice place to stay in. We had a room with a view on the garden, it was so quiet I wish I could have stayed here a month. If you choose this hotel, you must try the bar and eat in here. The food is so good and the owner must be the nicest personn on Scotland!

“wish we could have stayed longer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2010

What a fantastic traditional hotel, we were greeted on arrival by the proprietor, whom after a short check in offered to take our bags to our room. the room we had was lovely it was a small suite which gave us ample room. The room looked out on the grounds and we could see the small stream that ran alongside the hotel. The ensuite was very clean. The bed was traditional with nice crisp clean white sheets and blankets which was lovely and we were toasty and warm all night long. There is a small bar and they offer a small range of evening meals. My partner and I both enjoyed a nice supper before retiring to bed. In the morning we enjoyed a fantastic fresh cooked breakfast and watched a deer outside enjoying its breakfast. Checkout was also swift. The hotel is outside of the city centre which means it is very quiet, its grounds make it feel very secluded. It is a traditional small hotel with quality service to match.I wish we could have stayed longer and I will return again when we next go to Inverness.

“Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 February 2010

My partner and I stayed in this Hotel over the valentines weekend 2010 and we can both say we could not find any faults with our stay there. The rooms were nice, clean and were kept warm at all times. The ensuite bathroom was clean with all the toiletries topped up.
Michael, the owner, was extremely attentive throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were excellent.
I would defenitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in that part of the country. You will not be disappointed.

“Overpriced !!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2009

Stayed here for two nights in August, very clean, very friendly host, breakfast was very good. We stayed in what was described as a double suite... it wasn't and at £139 per night was really really overpriced

“An oasis of peace that takes you back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2009

We just returned from a short visit to Inverness and our most enjoyable stay at the Glen Druidh House Hotel. Our room was located by the lovely garden, in the original part of the house. We were very pleased with our accomodations, and our host made us feel most welcome. We found the house most charming and peaceful, as well as the gardens surrounding the home. After a delicious dinner, we took a long walk up along a footpath that gave us lovely views of the sun setting behind Inverness. The rooks at a nearby farm swarming home to roost gave us quite a show, and upon our return to our room, we were treated to another wildlife show by the family of badgers who came to sniff around right under our window. In the morning, we had the best breakfast of our entire trip to Scotland. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to return again.
