We stayed here last year, it was absolutely amazing! We did a lot of research before we went, and were tempted to book into a hotel, but were advised to give this place a shot, best decision of the whole trip! The place was friendly, warm and comfortable. We stayed in the purple room and loved it! The place is quiet and there was a seperate staircase to our room which meant we could come and go as we pleased and were never bothered by other guests. The owners were friendly and welcoming, they were very helpful and willing to advise us on where to eat/go for drinks etc. Will definitely be returning, hopefully soon!! We received a very warm welcome from Jo and Bradley.The hotel was first class,very clean,comfortable and went that extra mile in customer serviceThe bedroom was spacious and the bed was so comfortable..Our breakfast was lovely and the choice was excellent.everything was just perfect.Its location is wonderful with easy access to Inverness city.Unfortunatley due to a bereavement we had to return to Inverness,and Bradley was able to accomodate us and family members at short notice.We cant thank them enough for all their help.Love this place and will return for a leisure break later in year.

We stayed two nights and were impressed by the value. Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts and a very clean and comfortable bedroom. The location makes for an easy walk to downtown as well as a great base for touring the highlands. We definitely rate the Avalon as top notch.

Avalon Guest House is voted the #1 B&B in Inverness for a reason - thoroughly amazing. It is in a great location where you can walk to downtown Inverness. We checked in pretty late, but Jo was right there waiting for us. She gave us some recommendations for dinner (The Mustard Seed - very good) and then showed us to the room which was very comfortable and spacious. There were nice treats of cocoa and cookies awaiting us. Breakfast was super delicious (we love black pudding!). We couldn't find one problem with the lodging.
