“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

Just home from my trip to Inverness and so glad I chose this guest house. It was absolutely lovely. It had all the little touches a high quality hotel would have and I was pleasantly surprised. Dugie and fiona were lovely and was great to meet their dogs (nice tummy rubs). Huge breakfast and lots of choices. Extremely clean and fresh. Great location. I would defintely recommend and would love to stay there again.

“Lovely, lovely, lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2010

We spent two nights at Acorn House on our way back from Orkney, and it was wonderful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary on the first day and were presented with a bottle of wine which was very thoughtful. Fiona and Duggie were delightful hosts and very helpful. The room had everything you could want, although space was a little tight with our large cases, with lots of little extras, and I'm sure Fiona would be only too pleased to help with any extra requirements. The breakfast was fabulous, although we are sworn to secrecy about how Duggie makes the best porridge my wife has ever had! We will definitely look to stay here in the future.

Spent 8 nights here with our dog . Cannot reccomend it highly enough . Dugie and Fiona went the extra mile to ensure pleasant stay and the dog was welcomed too!! The whole holiday was marvellous with sightings of otter ,seals, dolphins, golden eagle and even the lesser spotted ROD STEWART thrown in to top the whole thing off!!!Marvellous!
Kim and Joe Lowther Earby. And Bailey the dog too.

“Best breakfast, wonderful hosts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2010

We spent a night here with our little dog - we were visiting family in the area. Beautifully clean rooms, well equipped and excellent quality bed linen. After a restful night's sleep, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast - the best we'd had on our travels - and good craic with the owners. After a week's touring, with several poor experiences of B&B, this restored our faith in Scottish guest houses.

We'll be back!

Liz, Peter and Bonnie.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2010

We stayed for two seperate nights in ths delightful B+B as stopovers from our holiday to the orkney isles.

Very helpful owners who work very hard in ensuring needs are met.

We were travelling with our dog who enjoyed his stay too!

Lovely breakfast - porridge first class.
