“The best B&B in Inverness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 June 2011

We stayed at Dunhallin twice - first time in March 2009 and second time in March 2011. Its a great place, rooms are fantastic - very modern and up to date, comfy beds (great pillows!). Breakfast was great too, one of the best fry ups we had. Margaret is very friendly and helpful. Its not to close to the city centre but we had a car so it didn't bother us. next time we're in Inverness, we'll stay at Dunhallin again!

“Once of the nicest B&B's I've stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2011

What a wonderful find! This is a great B&B. The hosts are very welcoming and Margaret serves a delicious breakfast! She had fresh baked banana bread for us when we arrived and there was a always a wonderful smell of some home made treats being made. Our room was one of the larger B&B rooms I have stayed in, very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again if we should return to Inverness.

“Fantastic bed & Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 April 2011

This has to be one of the best value B&B's i have ever stayed in.
Our host Margaret was superb and made us feel welcome. She was very knowledgeable about the area and even knew the best/cheapest taxis to book.
Our room was actually a mini suite; with lounge area complete with flay screen tv/dvd (books & DVD's free to borrow), the bedroom and then the shower/onsuite.
Breakfast was very tasty and very filling and you must try the porridge its a must.
This B&B is it is very popular so if there is a vacancy do not hesitate to book you will not be disapointed.

“If i could rate it higher i would”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2011

This was the second time i had visited Dunhallin Guest House and i will be going back again. The house is really lovely and is presented to a very high standard. My fiance and i have now stayed in two rooms within the guesthouse, both of which were immaculate, great size and welcoming and the choice of breakfast is very accommodating. Dunhallin feels like a second home to us, it was my Fiance's birthday on the second day of our stay and when we got back Margaret had put a birthday cake in the room. Margaret and Sandy are fantastic hosts who genuinely care about each individual they meet. Thanks again!

“Very pleasent stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 March 2011

We stayed at Dunhallin for 3 nights at the end of February and were very impressed with our stay overall. The hotel was beautiful, decorated with motifs from the owners' travels around the globe and the room was beautiful and spacious with ensuite facilities which were spotless. The room had its own Living area with TV/DVD combo television. They had wide range of DVD you could borrow which was a nice touch. It also had tea/coffee making facilities. The only slight fault with the rooms was that they were very difficult to get into due to difficult locks to open and close! Also the front door was tough to enter due to the draft excluder that had been put in place.
The breakfasts were good, with a wide range of choice from full cooked to fresh fruit. It was served in the very cosy breakfast room.
The hosts was very friendly and accommodating. When we needed to leave early on the last day, they did our breakfast extra early. When we needed some extra milk, they were more than happy to provide. They were very gracious and helpful.
The one thing that was a slight drawback was that the parking was slightly awkward. A couple times we found it difficult getting off the drive due to other cars being parked inconsiderably and even on one occasion we were blocked and had to get the hostess to ask the owner to move their car! Also it might be worth phoning the hotel to get the correct SAT NAV address as the one they have on the website does not take you to the correct place.
I would definitely recommend anyone going to Inverness to stay here. It really was a pleasure staying here. Thank you
