In August 2011, I stayed at the Ardconnel Guest House. This was my second time there, and again, John and Elizabeth made my stay in Inverness comfortable, efficient, and affordable. They know Inverness like the rest of us know our backyards. They know the best restaurants, shopping centers, tourist attractions, etc. My room was clean, comfortable, and completely secure. And the food—oh, man, you cannot beat their Scottish breakfast! For the price of a room, the Ardconnel House is the best value. (It's just a five-minute walk from the train station, so you're not hailing a cab or trying to figure out a map.)

We 3 stayed with Elizabeth and John for 3 nights on our round trip through Scotland in August this year. We were very warmly welcomed and Liz and John immediately booked a table for dinner for us because we were a little late and couldn't do this by ourselves. They do their very best that you feel comfortable. They help with tips for the day and give recommendations for restaurants or evenhelp you with everything you need.The family room had enough space for us 3 and we had a nice view over parts of inverness out of the window. The cleanliness is very good and the full Scottish BREAKFAST made by Liz and John is really SUPERB! We will definitely come back !

John and Elizabeth offer extremely comfortable accommodations as well as delicious breakfasts. The Ardconnel is located steps away from the main city center. Their recommendations for local restaurants were 'spot on' and their ideas for day trips out of Inverness were great. Our three night stay was truly memorable!

We stayed with Elizabeth & John for 1 night on our recent trip through Inverness. The room was perfect for 3 adults and the breakfast was fabulous. We definately recommend this B&B.
