Stayed the one night here. The room was good, clean and warm and very comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. For this price I could not fault the Travelodge. I will certainly be staying here again.

Usually a travelodge is a travelodge. The fairways was standard - the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. However it benefitted from very helpful and welcoming reception staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Although situated on the outskirts of Inverness the fairways benefits from a golf club next door with a restaurant that also serves breakfast.

This was my first time in a Travelodge and the room cost me £25. I would usually choose a Premier Inn when looking for a budget hotel, but this room worked out at around £20 cheaper. The room was very basic, had a small double bed and a roll away bed under the seating area. The bed was very old though, soft and lumpy where the springs were wearing through. That coupled with traffic noise made for a very unsettled sleep.
The shower in the morning was nice and powerful and plenty towels to use. The usual tea and coffee facilities were in the room and a vending machine downstairs provided water or juice and snacks.
The hotel and room were all very clean. So as the title says, you get what you pay for! I didn't expect any luxurious touches, but maybe a new matress would have been a bonus!

We stayed at the Travelodge in September this year for 3 nights and I have to say have no complaints what so ever, it was spotlessly clean and the girl at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced and in a good location for getting around.
