Another Groupon deal. Fantastic hotel, the best I have ever stayed in. Decandent room, was just that. Staff great, not overpowering. Food superb and reasonably priced. Short walk into the city centre. Good off road parking. Could not have been any better.

What a disappointment, £215 for B. and B. The only good thing about the bedroom was the size of the bed, otherwise a very plain small over priced room indeed.
What sort of a joke is the Red Room? a plasma screen with moving images of flames, and dishes containing jelly beans, the purpose of this particular set up escaped me.
What should have been the highlight of the visit, evening meal. Absolutely a non starter, rib eye steak of poor quality (despite claims that it came from an upmarket estate) and wine at £60 a bottle that could be bettered at Tesco any day.
The staff however were very attentive, no complaints there.

We stayed at the Rocpool Reserve from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th January in a Decadent room. We were very lucky to get a great deal through Groupon, which included Breakfast on both days and a Roux Express meal on one night. As we were in a Decadent room we chose not to partake in the offer to upgrade our room to the Extra Decadent. The hotel is situated centrally, a five-minute walk into the centre of Inverness, in a very peaceful area. On our arrival we were greeted at our car by one of the fabulous members of staff offering a hand with our luggage. We were then taken to our room and were checked in there. Much more discreet! We had Room Number 4, which had a small sitting room off the sumptuous bedroom and a massive bathroom with double shower and Roll top bath. Gorgeous! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was the type you could stay in all day! Breakfast was delicious, the menu plentiful and I enjoyed homemade Muesli and a full Scottish Breakfast cooked to perfection, served by friendly attentive staff.
The staff at the Rocpool deserves a special mention, I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff were so wonderful. They anticipated our every need, nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to take a genuine pride in their hotel. Even if you had not met them before, they knew exactly who we were and what room we were in when we walked in after an afternoon out.
Our Evening meal should have been the Roux Express, which was included with our Groupon deal, but, we opted instead to order from the main menu, again, food was excellent served by amazing staff.
We loved the Rocpool and will be returning in the near future. The hotel is small, only 11 rooms and I really hope it stays this size. I think if they decide to expand this will spoil the atmosphere, homely feel and service.
We would highly recommend this as a place for a romantic weekend.
Go on spoil yourself. You are so worth it!!!

Have just returned from a night at Rocpool Hotel. We did one of the Groupon deals & you feel a bit embarrassed handing over your bargain voucher.
However we cannot praise the hotel highly enough. Immaculate rooms with staff that can only be described as first class. Friendly, attentive, professional and very pleasant in manner. Part of the deal was the Chez R express. Lovely food and again staff were excellent, they must be hand picked. We always hear so much negative comments
in Scotland re hotels and restuarants. Not the case for Rocpool. Well done
