Booked a single room but was surprised to see how small it was! The room number, 7, wasn't lucky for me - lots of noise from the kitchen fan until at least 10pm as well as from the front door underneath the room. Could hear the conversation of the people in the next room too so didn't feel like I had much sleep. Nowhere to sit in room except on the bed - which is just too far from the desk to make for comfortable working on my laptop. The wi-fi reception (for which was charged £2.50) is really poor/slow and meant limited access to websites/emails. On the plus side - good sized shower, and room was warm enough. Staff were helpful with luggage and room service. Breakfast was OK, although dishwasher running behind the bar was a bit of a distraction. Felt that the price was high for the level of accommodation provided.
