Fantastic New Year stay at this hotel. Large room with huge bathroom - could be updated but extremely comfortable and more than needed for a short stay. The staff here are fantastic, couldn't be more helpful. Hogmanay Party was great - we did not have the Gala Dinner but did last year and it was also fantastic. Room got fresh towels on New Year's Day! The staff here are the greatest assett - joined in on Hogmanay and were still bright and cheery at breakfast next morning. The breakfast was also great, piping hot and lots of variety. I could not recommend this hotel any higher - booked for next year.

We stayed here for a couple of nights between Christmas and New Year. The hotel was quite quiet as you might expect and although a little dated in places good value for what we paid.

Breakfast was above average - the cooked selection was actually cooked and not just shown the grill as is so often the case but the thing that really made the difference was the staff. Firstly front of house staff are local - a big plus nowadays and secondly they were extremely helpful all the time and this is what made our stay particularly enjoyable. We stayed at the Craigmonie Hotel with our daughter and her partner. Our reception was very friendly and all the staff were very helpful at all times. The room not large, but certainly big enough for a short stay and was clean with all the facilities we could expect. Although it had no view, this was hardly important in November when it was dark most of the time we were in the room!. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
The breakfast was very good with a good choice. Food was replenished frequently so that it was not hanging around getting greasy or hard under the warming lights. Even when the dining room was busy there were no long waits for food.
The hotel has a very good location, outside the city with easy access to main roads, but close enough to walk into the centre in less than 15 minutes. There was plenty of free parking.
We did not eat dinner in the hotel restaurant. Though the menu looked fine, it could not compete with the first rate restaurants we found in the city.
The pool was quite small, but very clean and not busy. Our daughter and partner enjoyed the facilities of the spa.
We booked last minute and felt the the deal we received from the hotel's own web site was excellent value for money.
We would certainly stay again.

Our stay at the Craigmonie Hotal was an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was rather small, but clean, had all the usual amenities and a comfortable bed. No window view, just a brick wall. "C'est la vie" No noise issues mentioned in previous reviews.The public rooms and restaurant were pleasant, the standard of food and presentation was excellent.
Hotel is centrally located, around a 15 minute walk into Inverness.
Large free Car Park.
Would certainly stay again.
