I'd say that the main bonus of this hotel is the staff. At all points during my stay they were incredibly friendly and helpful. For example, I came to check in early as I was visiting my Mum later in the day. I hoped to leave my case but the lovely reception staff got the room cleaned and I was able to check in straight away. I stayed in a little single room at the back of the hotel. It was perfectly adequate for my needs and pleasantly decorated. My only small complaint was that it was a tiny bit chilly and could have done with more robust heating. The bar and restaurant looked absolutely lovely with great views of the river. I did not eat or drink there though and was out until late most nights. Having moved on to stay elsewhere in Inverness, I would say that the Waterside really represents good value for money and is a friendly, cosy place to spend a few days.
