“Nice hotel with very helpfull staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Attended our annual conference here in October and once again the Drumossie hotel delivered. If there is one gripe is, that it sells itself as a conference facility, but it letes itself down badly with its wi-fi facilities - although this may seem like a small issue, when deliverying seminars wholly through using internet connection it becomes quite a large issue.

Apart from that, the hotel delivers on all. particuarly attentive and courteous staff, nice well maintained rooms and good food.

“New Drumossie Hotel - October 2011”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

Visited New Drumossie Hotel for 3 nights in Octoer 2011 for a short break. Booking, plus special request, was dealt with courteously on phone by receptionist. When we arrived, the booking was not quite right, but was immediately corrected without any hesitation. Bedroom was immaculate - tried to find a fault but could not, and en suite was also spotless. Not the cheapest in town, but well worth the money. Overheard a complaint about the 'foreign staff' - he was Scottish! Although others were not Scottish they were polite and could answer any questions about the menu when asked. Meals were very good, but staying for three nights we noticed that the menu did not change. One waitress said that if we wanted she would ask the chef if he would prepare something else for us but we declined the offer, as there was already a good selection on the menu. Before leaving we were invited by the girls at reception to attend a charity event being held in the Function Suite, which we did. (Highland Hospitality?)

Room Tip: Rooms to the front but away from the main entrance or function suite entrance

“Nice but no whisky...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Stayed here for one night while attending a function at the hotel. Check-in was speedy , but would have appreciated the offer of a hand with our luggage ( yes we did have a lot, though we were only there for the night).
We stayed in a ground floor room, looking to the rear of the building. It was a good size, and had a bathroom with both bath and separate shower cubicle. It was also very quiet. No sign of the whisky decanter though, nor was there anything in the minibar. We weren't particularly bothered, but not sure if that was an oversight, or whether it was because we were on a special rate for guests at the function, which was only £5 cheaper than booking online.
Service at breakfast was very efficient, with tea/coffee arriving quickly and extra toast offered. Thought the choice of cooked items was a bit limited, but what I did have was very nicely cooked.
Overall an enjoyable stay.

“Once Again Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

It's 4 years since we stayed here but we had an overnight here last month tying in with a course held in the hotel which my husband attended.

I love this place! The staff are wonderful, the room was excellent and the whole atmosphere was a delight. Sitting in the beautiful reception/lounge area with coffee and a book was a lovely break from hectic Christmas shopping! We will be back long before another 4 years have passed.

“little things....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

I left a very expensive pen in my room and only noticed once I had returned home. A kind lady on reception arranged for it to be special delivered to London for me the next day....
