Booked into this Guest House by chance off the street! We had a comfortable family room en suite sleeping the 4 of us in 2 single beds & a double bed. The hosts were very welcoming with directions to town, parking , & info on best attractions!! The day trip to the West coast that Sandy suggested was just the best day out ever, we have never seen such lovely scenery with mountains, lochs & the red deer running by the roadside !! What a day out that was!!The breakfast was superb with a good choice on the buffet & a great" Scottish Breakfast". This is a very friendly place to stay & only a lovely 5 - 10 minute walk to town centre along the river bank. Clean & comfortable without being OTT!! It gets our vote & we will be back again - next time to do the trip to the Isle of Skye that was also recommended to us! We can only say we were glad we stumbled across The Ivanhoe & give the Hosts, including Sandy, the father in law a 100% for service & hospitality.

Great small friendly Guest House near the city centre - 10 to 15 minute walk!! Very clean, well appointed rooms with all you need to make you feel at home. Prices are very good value & you get a real highland breakfast which keeps you going all day!! Would advise that is great value & warm welcome from the family who run it. Nice to see that in this day & age , customers come first!!
