We stayed at Netherby just for 1 night in mid September and had a great time. Our hosts Alison & Will were so welcoming, very interested in our travels so far and made us feel at home, after a long day behind the wheel. Our room was well set out, just a bit small but thats expected in these old houses and was of no concern. Breakfast was amazing and just what you would expect in Scotland, fresh, varied and plenty of it. Alison was most insistent that we were well fed before we headed off and tailored our breakfasts to our requests.

We stayed in Netherby House for 1 night in August during a round trip through Scottland. Netherby is a nice little cottage in Wick. Our room was very very small, the bathroom was even smaller, but everything was clean and nice. Although the room was quite functional and the furniture was obviously from an ancient childrens room, it was looked after.
The hosts are friendly and cordial and the breakfast tastes fine. You can order a full scottish breakfast or help yourself with the continental breakfast on the buffet.
I can recommend Netherby for short, low-budged stays in Wick as the B&B is nice but also really appropriate.

My husband and I were touring around Scotland and found ourselves at Netherby. Right from the start we were made very welcome and we felt right at home. The room was lovely and cosy, the cooked breakfast was great. We were told about places to eat in the town and local entertainment which we followed up and certainly enjoyed. The Wick Accordion and Fiddle Club performing at a nearby hotel kept us toe tapping all night! Thankyou Mr and Mrs Gunn.

Me and my wife went to wick for a family reunion and we stayed at the following hotel and what a wonderful homely stay it was, from the minute we got there we were made to feel welcome and the couple are very genuine and could not of met a nicer couple, the room was very spacious and had everything we needed for somewhere to stay the night, it was very clean and kept upto date, when we got up the next morning the breakfast was just out of this world and we will be going back to stay, i would seriously recommend this hotel to anybody and the couple were very wonderful and just made us feel at home as though we had not left our own home in sunderland.
