“First class B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

We have stayed 14 nights the Bank House over the last 2 years on our fishing trips to the Highlands.
Having stayed at many B&Bs in the Highlands we rate this as the best we have found yet.
Rooms are very modern and always imaculate, nice shower rooms and all linen is always crisp and fresh.
Breakfast is when you want it in a well presented dining room.Lots to choose from and we are always asked if we need more Coffee/Tea/Toast etc .In fact we get our flasks filled to take fishing at no extra charge.
Despite being an old Bank building and therefore on the main street noise levels are very good at night and early morning-Wick is a very sleepy place!
Highly reccomended to anyone visiting the area.

“a cosy place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

It was an ok place. The family who run it was very nice and welcoming. We were in a small room overlooking the road. While the room was clean and very satisfactory, the lack of consistency in style bothered me.

“Well Run Friendly Guest House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

Stayed in the guesthouse for 3 days, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The guesthouse is a family run business, who have renovated the rooms over the years, my room had quality bedding and furnishings, plenty of tea coffee and milk.

The guesthouse has adequate free parking at the rear, and is within easy walking distance of all the local amenities.

Highly recommended if visiting this area.

Room Tip: Rear of guest house has views of river

“This guest house is special!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

A quiet, impeccably clean, reasonably priced, historical guest house ideally located in the center of town. We had a lovely room overlooking the river and were sorry our stay wasn't longer. William and Angela were warm and welcoming hosts, helpful with advice re restaurants and other logistics. Hannah, their daughter, was delightful, well-mannered and helpful (without getting in the way) during check-in. We apologized for our early morning getaway to catch the Orkney Island ferry... it was no problem at all. Free parking and a variety of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again.
